When to plant: August onwards
How to plant: Plant your bulbs at least twice, but preferably three times as deep as they are tall. Plant informal groups in borders, rock gardens, under deciduous trees and shrubs, and in containers.
Planting Position: Full sun or partial shade. Avoid very dry areas such as under conifers.
Soil Type: Well-drained, but moist, humus rich soil.
